Mortar Board accepts written applications during Winter Quarter. Students select new members in the Spring.
Am I eligible?
- Have a minimum 3.00 grade point average
- Have senior class status with intended graduation date no sooner than March 2009
- Demonstrate exemplary commitment to scholarship, leadership and service
- Be duly enrolled in a branch of The Ohio State University
What is required?
- Actively participate in meetings, service projects, fundraising, social events and other initiatives throughout the year:
Spring Quarter: Selections Day (choose new members), New Member Orientation, Farewell Champagne Toast
Fall Quarter: Pillow Fight, 2 Fundraising Activities, 2 Service Activities
Winter Quarter: Faculty Reception, 2 Fundraising Activities, 2 Service Activities
- Maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Limit membership to only one Senior Class honorary or honor society
- Demonstrate exemplary performance in Scholarship, Leadership, and Servicemembers have contributed!
